Austrian cuisine has many fathers and, most especially, mothers. One of them, without a doubt, is “Tante Jolesch.“

The Viennese-born author Friedrich Torberg immortalized her with his book Tante Jolesch – The Decline of the West in Anecdotes. Many recipes are tied to this original character, a genial hostess who loved to entertain.

Just like “Tante Jolesch,“ we are dedicated both to our guests and to Austrian culture in Kreuzberg for over 25 years now.
